Home Improvement Line (HIL) HELOC applications are submitted through participating contractors using a Merchant Portal during sales appointments. Homeowners applying through participating contractors are evaluated based on Aven's underwriting criteria. Having an existing Aven account does not automatically exclude a borrower from applying for an HIL product.
